This choice summer-blooming tree is one of our favorites. Blooming July into August, it has pure 2-inch to 3-inch white flowers with orange centers, reminding one of a single camellia. Its outstanding clean foliage turns a beautiful red in the fall, and its wonderful exfoliating bark is particularly effective in winter months. Upright in form, this tree is outstanding as an accent or naturalized in the woodland garden. Windy Hill Farm has an extensive selection from small to specimen size.
