TREE SELECTIONS
Acer • The Maples –Several native varieties with outstanding fall color of both our native Sugar Maple and Red Maple as well as Silver/Red cross, and the Pennsylvanica.
Cornus • The Dogwoods –Several beautiful Kousa varieties, as well as hybrid selections, and the native florida.
Deciduous Conifers • Metasequoia (Dawn Redwood), Taxodium (Bald Cypress) and Larix. They each have their own distinct fall color.
Evergreen Conifers • Native hemlocks, white pines and dwarf selections of each. Asian selections with unusual needles, Western cedars and arborvitaes.
Quercus • The Oaks – Extensive selection of our native species, including White, Red, Scarlet, and Chestnut, Burr, as well as interesting hybrid selections, such as a fastigiated form.
Nyssa and Liguidambar • Black Gum and Sweet Gum selections. Two of the most beautiful trees in the fall for the Berkshires. Excellent in wet areas.
Tree Fruits and Small Fruits • An extensive selection of our own Berkshire-grown apples, pears, peaches, plums, cherries, fruiting quince, blueberries, and raspberries. Large specimen sizes available on many selections.

Hamamelis – Witch Hazel – Beautiful fall-blooming natives and spring-blooming hybrid selections.
Hydrangea – An extensive selection in both tree and shrub form of this summer and fall-blooming favorite. Large field-grown specimens available.
Ilex verticillata – Winterberry – A Windy Hill Farm specialty. Several varieties of this fall fruiting native.
