This is the most beautiful summer-blooming dogwood that we offer — hardy, long-lived and disease resistant. This Asian introduction gives us multiseasonal interest with blooms typically starting in midto late June and sometimes extending into late August, followed by large, red strawberry-shaped fruit for fall display. As this wonderful tree matures, it also exhibits great exfoliating bark. It would be hard to find a more beautiful summer flowering tree.
