🍂✨ Colchicums: The Jewels of the Fall Garden 🍂✨ Colchicums: The Jewels of the Fall Garden ✨🍂
Just when summer starts to fade, colchicums step in with their unexpected charm! Sometimes called autumn crocus(though they’re not true crocuses), these fall-flowering bulbs bring elegant color when most blooms have gone.

Here are 4 standout varieties to add to your garden this season:

🌿 Byzantinum ‘Innocence’
Delicate white blooms with soft lilac-pink streaks—refined and luminous. A graceful addition to borders or under trees.
🕰️ Blooms: Late summer to early fall

💗 Pink Star
Soft blush-pink flowers with a wide, star-like shape. Gentle in tone but stunning in mass plantings.
🕰️ Blooms: Early to mid fall

🔮 Poseidon
Rich lavender-purple petals with a golden heart. Named after the god of the sea, it’s a bold and majestic fall highlight.
🕰️ Blooms: Mid fall

💜 Lilac Wonder
Large, goblet-shaped blooms in glowing lilac tones. A standout for fall color and drama!
🕰️ Blooms: Late summer to early fall

🌱 How to Plant:
• When: Late summer (July–August)
• Where: Full sun to part shade
• How: Plant corms 3–5 inches deep, 6–8 inches apart
• Note: Flowers often appear before the foliage—don’t worry, that’s normal! Let leaves grow and die back naturally to nourish next year’s bloom.

Colchicums bring magic when you least expect it. Plant now and thank yourself later. 🌸🍁
